Yeardley Love was the kind of young woman that would make any mother in her right mind proud. A stand-out lacrosse player in high school, she went on to play for the highly ranked University of Virginia team, where she was known for her integrity, upbeat attitude and a sense of humor when teammates needed it most. She majored in government and minored in Spanish. She volunteered to work with underprivileged kids and the elderly.
