U.S. appeals court upholds California ban on gay-conversion therapy Aug 29th 2013, 20:57 SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - California's ban on a controversial therapy aimed at reversing homosexuality in children was upheld by a federal appeals court on Thursday that dismissed arguments by opponents of the measure who contended it violated free speech and parental rights.
