School district looks to fill $16M budget gap for upcoming school year after running out of savings generated by about $55M in federal stimulus money the past 4 years.
Lake County's 41,000 schoolchildren next year will be in for a slew of classroom cutbacks, including fewer teachers, guidance counselors and discontinued bus rides to their campuses, if the School Board approves a series of proposed budget cuts.
