Uruguay approves gay marriage, second in region to do so Apr 11th 2013, 01:22 MONTEVIDEO (Reuters) - Uruguay's Congress passed a bill on Wednesday to allow same-sex marriages, making it the second country in predominantly Roman Catholic Latin America to do so.
